KENYA / AFRICA

The best of this safari in Kenya, apart from the animals, was the absolutely amazing scenery! Kenya's history and culture is always latent; it's traditions and characteristics are so strong and impressive that it's easy to notice them and have the opportunity to share a bit with the locals  (Masai indigenous) . 

Each day offers a bit of everything ... extreme heat in the sun, a little bit of cool in the shade and cold during the night. Keep in mind that it is important to be comfortable, think you're going to be standing or sitting on the safari truck. I also advise to always have a hat on hand to protect your skin from the sun for so many hours.

Lo mejor de este safari en Kenya aparte de los animales fueron los paisajes absolutamente increíbles! Su historia, su cultura está siempre latente y sus tradiciones y características son tan fuertes e imponentes que es fácil notarlas y más al tener la oportunidad de compartir un poco con la gente local como los indígenas Masai.

Cada día ofrece de todo un poco... en el sol calor extremo, en la sombra un poco de frescura y en la noche poco frío. Ten presente que es importante estar cómodo, piensa en que vas a estar parado o sentado en el carro del safari, además te aconsejo tener siempre a la mano un sombrero para proteger tu piel del sol durante tantas horas. 

Kenya is full of colors everywhere you look. The race is spectacular, their beautiful skin highlighted with every color. The crafts are focused on using beads and vivid colors together.

It's hot and this coastal area is not so conservative so wearing dresses or shorts is fine.

Kenya es lleno de colores por donde uno mire. La raza es espectacular, el color de la piel de ellos y las pieles tan lindas resaltan con todos los colores. Las artesanías se enfocan en usar chaquiras y todos los colores mas vivos juntos.

Hace calor y no son tan conservadores en esta parte que es la costa así que usar vestidos o shorts esta bien.

DUBAI / UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

This safari in Dubai's desert was my favorite! One of the things I loved the most was the incredible set up in the middle of it, the decoration was amazing, full of traditional Arab details ... After feeling like on a roller coaster while going through the dunes, you come to a place that seems like a dream, with a buffet of Arabic food, henna tattoo artists, belly dancers and hookahs. The desert landscape is amazing, like an endless sea of sand with wave shapes in the sand made by wind. 

It's very hot so having the right clothes is important, I recommend wearing shorts or typical loose pants to sit comfortably while you are on the site. It's windy and the hair is unmanageable so it's easier if you have something to cover your head, buy a nice scarf for these occasions.

Este safari por el desierto en Dubai fue de mis preferidos!Una de las cosas que me enamoró fue el montaje que hacen en la mitad del desierto, la decoración es increíble, llena de detalles típicos árabes... Después de sentirse en una montaña rusa mientras vas por las dunas, llegas a un montaje que parece un sueño, con un buffet de comida árabe, tatuadoras de henna, belly dancers y narguilas. El paisaje del desierto es increíble, como un mar sin fin de arena con figuras de olas en la arena hechas por el viento.

Hace mucho calor así que  tener la ropa adecuada es importante, te recomiendo llevar shorts para poder sentarte cómodamente mientras estas en el camping o también pueden ser los pantalones típicos anchos de algodón. Hace viento y el pelo es un poco incontrolable así que es mas fácil tener algo puesto en la cabeza, cómprate una linda pañoleta para estas ocasiones. 

MALDIVES / INDIAN OCEAN

The Maldives are an absolute paradise! The most beautiful sea I've ever seen in my life. 

All colors are very vivid and will captivate you to the point that you want to dress in those colors. 

Always think that clothes should be comfortable and cool, even though it is a Muslim country in these resorts there's no need to be so conservative. Most of the time you'll be in a bikini.

INDIA / SOUTH ASIA

India as its slogan says is absolutely amazing in every way, but it certainly has very strong contrasts for us as tourists. They have extremes of both good and bad, overwhelming luxury and extreme poverty. 

Keep in mind that the summer can be quite oppressive, so it's important to wear cool fabrics. Clothes should be conservative, especially to cover at least below the knees to enter temples; it's part of the culture to be respectful in their sacred places (pants or knee-length skirts and blouses that will cover the shoulders and chest). 

The sights are amazing and the story of each one is like a Disney movie. Like Gods who built these works of art for love ...

India como lo dice su slogan es absolutamente increíble en todos los sentidos, pero sin duda tiene contrastes tan fuertes que para nosotros como turistas tienes  extremos tanto buenos como malos, está el lujo abrumador y la extrema pobreza.

Ten presente que el verano puede llegar a ser bastante sofocante, así que es importante ropa de telas frescas, deben ser conservadoras,  especialmente que tape al menos debajo de las rodillas para poder entrar a los templos, es parte de la cultura ser respetuosos en sus lugares sagrados (pantalón o faldas hasta la rodilla y blusas que te cubran los hombros y el pecho).

Los monumentos son increíbles y la historia de cada uno es como de una película de Disney. Como Dioses que construyen estas obras de arte por amor...

ABU DHABI / UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

The Mosque in Abu Dhabi is as stunning as the Vatican, absolutely spectacular! The detail on the walls and the amount of luxury and precious stones they used to decorate it is amazing. The heat is unbearable (48 * C) and even more when you have to be covered from head to toe. It is probably the most conservative place that I visited. 

La Mesquita en Abu Dhabi es tan imponente como el Vaticano, completamente espectacular! El grado de detalle en las paredes es increíble y al mismo tiempo la cantidad de lujo y piedras preciosas que usan para decorarla. El calor es insoportable (48* C) y mas cuando toca taparse de pies a cabeza. Es probablemente el lugar más conservador al que fuí.

Abu Dhabi, UAE (Grand Mosque)

SRI LANKA / SOUTH ASIA

Sri Lanka is a country with a culture like India's but much happier because it is a small island. Although it has four predominant religions, people are pretty open, very friendly and noble.

It's fairly hot in most of the island except for the area where tea is grown. The ideal clothing is light, fresh clothes and some long pieces to visit the temples. For the Lanka Challenge something far more relaxed for spending all day in a tuk tuk.

Sri Lanka es un país con una cultura como la de la India pero mucho mas alegre porque que es una isla pequeña. Aunque tiene cuatro religiones predominantes la gente es bastante abierta, demasiado amigable y noble.

Hace bastante calor en la mayor parte de la isla excepto en la zona donde cultivan el té. La ropa ideal es ropa ligera, fresca y algunas cosas largas para visitar los templos. Para el Lanka Challenge algo mucho mas relajado para estar todo el día en un tuk tuk.
